Waseen (“we”, “us”) helps families coordinate with transparent WhatsApp presence insights
(online/offline patterns). We do not read message contents and we do not sell personal data.
Data we process
Account identity — Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in): your user id (uid) and basic profile fields Google provides.
Profiles & contacts you configure — stored in Firebase Realtime Database under your account paths.
Presence signals — online/offline-style events used for timelines, rhythms, and insights (not chat messages).
Device tokens — for push notifications and reliability (FCM).
Support data — messages you send via in-app live chat (e.g. Tawk.to), support tickets, or related logs needed to help you.
Billing status — subscription state from Google Play (we do not receive your full payment card details).
How we use data
Provide app features: presence display, history, insights, notifications, and account limits.
Operate the service: security, abuse prevention, rate limits, debugging, and incident response.
Improve reliability and support quality.
Legal basis & your responsibilities
You must only monitor people who understand and agree in your jurisdiction (e.g. family/household coordination).
You are responsible for lawful use. Waseen cannot bypass WhatsApp privacy settings (e.g. hidden last seen).
Retention & deletion
Presence and operational logs are trimmed by automated retention on our servers.
Live chat may be processed by Tawk.to or similar providers under their terms.
Security
API access uses Firebase ID tokens; optional App Check may be enforced.
HTTPS for data in transit; access controls and rate limits on the backend.
Children
Waseen is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). Parents/guardians should enable monitoring only with appropriate consent.
